HOW TO REACH US

Borgo S. Lorenzo is located at 35 Kilometers north of Florence. 

It is reachable both from north and from south by super highway (A1) exit Barberino di Mugello. 

Here side you can find the itineraries to reach the village.    For whom is in Florence, the alternative is the state road n.65 of  Futa Pass (Bolognese road) or the state road n.302 (Faentina road) towards Borgo S. Lorenzo.    BOLOGNESE ROAD From Piazza della Libertà (Freedom Square), take Don Minzoni avenue, turn to the left towards G.Pascoli street and once more to the left towards M. di Savoia street. Then cross the Mugnone river turning to the  right and taking the Bolognese road (ss.65). Getting over Pian di San Bartolo, Pratolino, Vaglia you finally reach Borgo S. Lorenzo. FAENTINA ROAD From Piazza della Libertà (Freedom Square), take Don Minzoni avenue,  get over the railways fly-over bridge reaching Piazza delle Cure and then turn to the left towards Fra’ Passavanti street and once more turn to the left towards Madonna delle Querce street. Crossing the Mugnone river take Francesco Caracciolo street, L. Sanfelice street and finally Faentina road (ss.302). Getting over Pian del Mugnone, Olmo and Polcanto you will reach Borgo San Lorenzo (28 Km).

For whom wants to use the public transport, Borgo San Lorenzo is reachable from any locality by train. There are two railways:

The Faentina railway which joins Florence to Ravenna through Borgo San Lorenzo and the Borgo-Pontassieve railway which joins Florence to Borgo San Lorenzo through the Arno and Sieve Valleys.

By train : Santa Maria Novella Station in the centre of Florence is reachable in less than one hour.
